Sadly, we are in the thrid week of school and we have not started science. (or at least how most teachers define science) The second grade team I am working with has decided to teach science and social studies in units. We are teaching 4 to 5 weeks of science and then 4 to 5 weeks of social studies. The first few weeks of school have been focused on communities. We will start forms of matter in a couple of weeks.
